Our teachers are professional musicians and understand having a passion for music. It's our goal to always help you reach your goals, while having a blast doing it. Music should be FUN - Regardless of age or level.
Are you looking to improve or learn a new technique on the electric bass? Want to learn about slapping, tapping, double thumping, thumbing, 3 and 4 fingerstyle techniques, soloing…? Maybe you’re a beginner who has never played an instrument before and you’re looking for help getting started.
Or if you want to specifically study a certain genre we have programs available in rock, progressive rock, jazz, jazz fusion, jazz improvisation, blues, folk, and more.
WHY TAKE BASS LESSONS?
Lincroft Music teaches bass lessons to student of all ages and levels. Starting at age 10, to teens and adults, bass lessons are a great way to improve focus, coordination and lower stress. Bass players are often the least noticed member of a 4 piece traditional rock band. The shame of this is that fewer people realize the awesomeness of holding down the music with the low-end groove. Nothing makes a song more than a complete bass line - bassists are the glue that holds bands together.
At Lincroft Music, our philosophy is that learning music should be a fun experience for all students. Our approach is to help each student find their love of music through playing the bass. The focus is having fun while learning. Our bass teachers are versed in all genres of music and we encourage students to bring song ideas to their lessons to learn.
