DO YOU NEED A PIANO AT HOME?
As long as you have something to practice on at home, you're ready to learn to play the piano! If you have an acoustic piano, upright or baby grand, then we suggest having it tuned so you can enjoy practicing in between lessons with accurate sound.
If you do not have a piano, or maybe just don't have room for one in your home, see our Blog for some suggestions on keyboards.
WHAT TO EXPECT AT MY FIRST LESSON
Expect to have FUN! At your first lesson, you'll spend a few minutes chatting with your teacher to tell them if you've ever played before or if you're a beginner. If you're a beginner, they will pick an instruction book they think fits your needs best, and you'll leave your lesson with having learning your first notes! If you've played before, you'll leave your lesson with having learned something new towards your goals as a musician!
