Lincroft Music School was founded in February 2003. Our philosophy is that learning an instrument should be a FUN and REWARDING experience for every student, regardless of age or playing level.
Our students are family. Being a part of the Monmouth County, New Jersey Community for 20 years, watching students grow into independent musicians, and then bringing their own children in years later is our greatest joy!
At Lincroft Music School, we never give a "one size fits all lesson". Every student learns in a unique way, has different goals as a musician and different interests. Our private lessons are personalized to YOU! Our experienced teachers not only all have degrees in music and teaching, and are working, touring musicians, but also are FUN!

Guitar Lessons for ages 5 to teens and adults and all levels from beginners to advanced. Learning guitar is a great for dexterity, confidence, memory and as an emotional and creative outlet. If you're a beginner, we'll start with the basics like getting to know your instrument, chords, notes & get you playing a song you love. At Lincroft Music, piano lessons are designed with each individual students goals in mind. We'll help you learn the fundamentals of piano and reading music while learning how to play your favorite songs within a few lessons.

Drum Lessons for ages 5 to teens and adults and all levels from beginners to advanced. Learning drums is excellent as a first or second instrument, and will help you with your overall musical knowledge. Timing, rhythm and beats will help you in any music endevor. Drumming is great for reducing stress, expelling energy, developing confidence and being physical. Learn the fundamentals of drumming including learning to read drum notation, as well as learning how to play songs and beats.

SINGING LESSONS NEAR MONMOUTH COUNTY, NEW JERSEY
Singing Lessons for ages 5 to teens and adults and all levels from beginners to advanced. Ages 5-8 do best by beginning in our "Group Singing Class", while ages 8 to teens and adults do best in private lessons. Singing lessons will help with confidence, speech, core strength and self esteem. Voice lessons include learning breath control, proper vowel placement, performance techniques and vocal health. Choose your favorite style of music, from Broadway and Musical Theater, to Rock and Pop and learn how to apply proper technique to your everyday singing.

You and your teacher will get to know each other. They will ask what music you listen to, and what your goals are as a vocalist. If you're a beginner, we'll start with the basics breathing, warm ups, vocal health and how to apply these to singing. AGES 5-8 BEGINNERS DO BEST IN OUR
BASS LESSONS NEAR MONMOUTH COUNTY, NEW JERSEY
Bass lessons start at age 10, to teens and adults, bass lessons are a great way to improve focus, coordination and lower stress. Bass players are often the least noticed member of a 4 piece traditional rock band. The shame of this is that fewer people realize the awesomeness of holding down the music with the low-end groove. Nothing makes a song more than a complete bass line - bassists are the glue that holds bands together. Our approach is to help each student find their love of music through playing the bass. Our bass teachers are versed in all genres of music and we encourage students to bring song ideas to their lessons to learn.

UKULELE LESSONS NEAR MONMOUTH COUNTY, NEW JERSEY
Lincroft Music teaches private ukulele lessons to student of all ages and levels. Young beginners through retired adults can benefit from the joys of learning to play the ukulele. It's a fun, portable instrument, perfect for playing with friends on-the-go.
At Lincroft Music, our philosophy is that learning music should be a fun experience for all students. Ukulele is great for first time music students, since you will instantly be able to play your first song within your first lesson. Often, the ukulele acts as a bridge instrument to guitar or other instruments.
